Read moreThe Dutch Society for Mass Spectrometry (NVMS) aims to bring together scientists working in the various fields of mass spectrometry and to promote interactions between the members from academia and industry, young and established mass spectrometrists, and from various disciplines. The Dutch Society for Mass Spectrometry was founded in 1964 as the Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group. In 1992 this became the NVMS, a society aimed at the further development of mass spectrometry and its applications in the Netherlands. Membership of the NVMS is open to any person with an interest in mass spectrometry. Members receive periodic news letters about NVMS meetings, activities, and funding support for postgraduate students and technical staff to attend mass spectrometry conferences.
