We are excited to announce that Prof. Michael Marty (University of Arizona) will be visiting the Netherlands to give two seminars on his cutting-edge work in the field. His talk, titled:
“Characterizing Complex Biomolecules with Multiplexed Charge Detection-Mass Spectrometry and AI-accelerated Top-down Proteomics”
will explore innovative approaches at the intersection of advanced MS techniques and AI.

Speaker Bio. Michael Marty is an Associate Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Arizona. Before joining the University of Arizona in 2016, he performed his doctoral studies in chemistry at the University of Illinois with Prof. Stephen Sligar, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford with Prof. Dame Carol Robinson. Dr. Marty is renowned for his work in membrane protein biochemistry, particularly using native mass spectrometry. He also develops innovative software tools for native and charge-detection MS, including the widely used UniDec platform.
